Recent Princeton alumni from the University’s 50-plus humanities departments and programs have gone on to a breathtaking array of careers.

The grants were part of a round of awards made to 81 humanities projects nationwide. The two Princeton grants are for projects connected with the University's Geniza Lab.

The prestigious medal is awarded every four years by the International Mathematical Union to researchers under 40 years old for “outstanding mathematical achievement” and future promise. 

The national initiative will "help develop and demonstrate AI-enabled scientific workflows designed to accelerate breakthroughs in energy, discovery science, and national security,” the DOE said.

For more than 40 years, he inspired generations of students to explore the beauty and power of language.
